Alice Stark comes to HumanPoint with a unique combination of skills and experience. She is currently a PhD student in Seattle Pacific University’s Industrial-Organizational Psychology program, and she is also a licensed clinical social worker with experience in crisis intervention and mental health. She draws from both of these perspectives at HumanPoint, helping to initiate positive change in people’s lives while also applying the power of psychology and research to workplace relationships.
Alice has provided organizational development consulting to a wide range of clients during the course of her field work, including CenturyLink, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Seattle non-profit Ladybug House. She has also served as the Clinical Supervisor for the Annara Behavioral Health program, You Grow Girl!. Her work with these teams included project management, organizational needs analysis, and improvement of operational processes. She finds that the issues that organizations face at critical inflection points often mirror the issues that concerned her former counseling clients, and she draws from her psychology background to help organizations enhance communication and decrease conflict.
Alice provides research and statistical evaluation both internally and to HumanPoint clients. She also works on process improvement and project management. In addition to her current degree program, Alice holds a Master of Arts in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Seattle Pacific University and an MA in Social Work and Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, both from California State University, Chico. She serves on the Board of Directors for You Grow Girl!, and enjoys gardening and spending time with her Irish Wolfhound.
