Mathea brings her passion for realizing potential at the individual and organizational level to everything she works on. As a kid, she regularly asked friends and family members to take personality tests and discuss their results and potential for growth with her (this made her a big hit at family events). Now, she channels this same love of assessments, individual differences, and maximizing untapped potential into her work as a consultant with HumanPoint.
In her work, Mathea focuses on using meaningful, data-driven insights to drive strategic growth and development. Her previous experience includes custom survey consulting with leaders to identify strategic next steps, leading research projects for a $1.5 million dollar grant, and developing applied, data-driven tools to help achieve organizational goals.
Mathea holds an MA in industrial-organizational psychology from Seattle Pacific University. Before moving to the Pacific Northwest, she graduated with honors and a BA in psychology and statistics from the University of Minnesota, Morris. Currently, she is working toward her PhD in industrial-organizational psychology. Most days, you can find Mathea working hard at home in Queen Anne, drinking her second (or third) cup of coffee. When she isn’t busy, she’s usually out exploring new restaurants or making friends with every puppy at the nearby dog park.
