Lisa Hilbert

Executive Coach

Lisa Hilbert provides coaching and team development to individuals, non-profit organizations, and major corporations. She brings a lifetime of experience in her specialty of neurodiversity, as she has multiple relatives who are Deaf, blind, on the autism spectrum, or have mental health support needs. She brings a deep empathy to coaching neurodiverse employees, having experienced academic accommodations throughout college and graduate school for her own learning differences. Her passion is helping connect people with work that taps into their strengths and helps them thrive at their company. She educates leadership to support neurodiverse individuals so they can meet expectations, while also promoting understanding and acceptance within the corporate culture.

Lisa brings an enthusiastic energy and fresh perspective to stuck problems and roadblocks. She relies on intuition and empathy to listen effectively and uncover deeper issues. Equal balance of artist and scientist, she offers a background in scientific research and neurobiology to inform her work in assisting businesses and teams, with specialized knowledge about learning, information processing, evidence-based practices, and social and interpersonal skills development. Trained in creative problem solving and goal setting tools PATH® and MAPS®, she uses her illustration skills to help visualize ideas and a way forward.

Lisa holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication Disorders and Spanish from the from the University of Redlands. She is fluent in Spanish and studied abroad at the Universidad Católica Argentina, gaining a strong appreciation for Argentinian culture. Tying together her passions for neurodiversity and Spanish, she conducted an independent study on autism and the educational system in Argentina under an advisor from the Universidad de Buenos Aires. She has presented at international conferences in English and Spanish throughout Latin America and the United States. She also has a Master of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington and has been coaching in the greater Seattle area since 2011.
